The Victorian Hand Surgery Associates is a group of independent specialist surgeons dedicated to excellence in care of the hand. We treat all aspects of hand related problems including arthritis, trauma, sports injuries, hand reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, microsurgery and free tissue transfer, paediatric and brachial plexus surgery. Public hospital appointments are held at the Hand Surgery Unit at St Vincent´s Hospital, Royal Children´s Hospital and Dandenong Hospital. We are the preferred providers for the Armed Services and are actively involved with teaching and training medical undergraduates, graduate plastic and orthopaedic registrars and post-fellowship overseas and Australian surgeons pursuing a career in hand surgery. Research interests are undertaken within Victorian Hand Surgery Associates and at the Bernard O´Brien Institute of Microsurgery in St Vincent’s Hospital. Hand therapy is independently provided by our group of dedicated specialist hand therapists. |
